About the Lazy Flamingo Sanibel Island

The Lazy Flamingo Restaurant is a chain of restaurants with locations in Santiva in Sanibel, Florida, Sanibel Island in Sanibel, Fort Myers, and Bokeelia. With four hopping locations, it is no wonder it has been so popular in Southwest Florida for over 20 years!

Sanibel-Captiva

One of the main locations of the Lazy Flamingo is the Sanibel-Captiva location before the Captiva Bridge. After a full day of exploring Sanibel Island, head here to catch the green las sunset, have a beer during happy hour, or just relax by the ocean. You can even bring your own catch of the day from your fishing adventure and have the chefs whip up an amazing dish for you!

Sanibel Island

With a quirky outdoor exterior and a bright pink building, the Sanibel Island location of the Lazy Flamingo is a perennial hotspot. Nestled in the heart of Sanibel Island on Periwinkle Way, this restaurant uses tropical island flavors, fresh foods, tasty appetizers, hot main plates, and friendly locals to talk with.

Lazy Flamingo Sanibel Menu

The Lazy Flamingo Sanibel menu is full of famous dishes paired with an ice-cold beer. What can be better on a hot summer day?

For a starter, we recommend the raw bar and grill. Try the ice-cold oyster on the half shell that is shucked to order — meaning they are fresh! If you don’t love oysters, try The Pot — your choice of two dozen oysters or clams or a combination of both, steamed in beer with special spices.

For lunch, try one of the burgers or sandwiches. We recommend getting the Mesquite-Grilled Grouper sandwich with special seasoning and tartar sauce. Try one of the many domestic drafts, premium drafts, bottled longnecks, or draft IPA pitches to share with the table to wash down the tasty seafood!

Feeling hungry for lunch? Need a cold beer? Head to The Lazy Flamingo Restaurant during your stay on Sanibel Island. Once you’re done with this tasty meal, head back to your accommodation from Tropical Escape Sanibel for a relaxing evening in Florida.
